Messages Icon

To send a message to a staff member or physician, or to send your patients appointment reminders, click on the Messages Icon.

 

 To compose a message, click on the New Message button within the Message Center window.  Select the recipient(s) and the patient that the message pertains to.  Populate the Subject line field (or choose from a drop down list of most commonly used subjects), then, enter text in the main Message field.  Click on the Send button to send the message.

 

 If you would like to send the message as a mobile phone text in addition to delivering it to the recipient(s) inbox, check the Send txt box.

 If you would like to attach the message to a patient record, check the Add To Patient Chart box.

 To reply to a message in your inbox, click on the message’s sender and the View/Reply to Message window will open automatically.  When you are finished composing your reply, click Send.

 If you would like to send the message as a mobile phone text in addition to delivering it to the recipient(s) inbox, check the Send txt box.

 If you would like to attach the message to a patient record, check the Add To Patient Chart box.

 To send a patient an appointment reminder message, click on Patient Reminders tab.  Select a doctor from the drop down menu then populate the date or date range for upcoming appointments you’d like to send reminders for.  Edit your outgoing message and click the Run button to generate a list of patients who have appointments in that date range.  Select whether to send the reminder as a text, email, or both for each of the patients by checking the appropriate box(s).  Click the Send button when you are ready to send out your appointment reminders.
